Dear Mary Ellen and Family,
I will always have fond memories of your Mom. She was great fun as we children of the "Bridge Group" were growing up in Verona. I will always remember our trip to the museum. She was always interested in all of our endeavors as we grew to adulthood. Mrs. Maher was a unique lady who will be missed.

I've known Joan for 38 years. We had many fun times together, parties, playing tennis, boating at the shore and just being friends. I will miss her a lot, we always enjoyed a lot of laughs together. Condolences to her children and grandchildren. Love, Gloria

MaryEllen, Tim and Chris, We were so sad to hear the news. Aunt Joan filled my childhood with so many great memories. She was one of a kind. I keep thinking that God has his hands full now... Love, Nancy

So many years, so many cherished memories...of Joan being the "crazy lady of Verona" and often acting the part, parties in Point Pleasant with her feet flavoring the "soppin' sauce", of trips to North Carolina, a trip to West Plam where she packed her bags and was going to walk home, and vacations in the islands. Back to Joan who worked so hard and became a good tennis player. And dandelion wine in her backyard. And back to watching her march MaryEllen, Tim, and Gopher around the house like...

I have not seen Joan for a few years, but her strength of personality, and her love for her family left an indelible impression on all of us. In her honor, the Lange Family made a donation to the Raptor Trust.
