Joan York Marsh

I have signed the guestbook once before; however, I want the family to know that I was surprised, and delighted at the same time, to see my niece there, an RN who once rendered nursing care to Joan AND Ronnie York, with whom I attended Phillips High School in the 50's. During the years that I worked with Joan at the Courthouse, I didn't know that Ronnie was related. That was the first time that I had seen him since 1953.

We have lost a beautiful, funny, giving lady. Lady in the deepest sense of the word. She loved deeply and was quick with a hug and a laugh. We will miss her terribly. We wish her daughter Joni, my best friend,her husband Jerry,and children deep peace and love. Nina & Rusty MegoisMegois

I had the pleasure of working with Joan from the day she began working in the Jefferson County Department of Revenue until she retired in 1992. She was a sweet, considerate and dedicated employee. The County was indeed fortunate to have such a long-term, dedicated and loyal employee. I know that she is once again happy now that she is reunited with her beloved husband.
