Condolences to the family. I worked with Joan at Carlisle Hospital in the lab. She was such a caring and sweet person. Dr. Martin and I met many years ago when I decided to look for a new doctor in hopes of finding a doctor who would listen and give me the best care. I found that in him. I talked my father into seeing Dr. Martin for whom he praised and to our complete surprise, many years later my father died from kidney failure due to his lupus.
