Not sure what to say?

Mrs. May was my daughters 4th grade teacher at Whitesburg Elementary School. A loving, caring, accepting person who made a difference in my daughters educational life. May she rest in peace and dance with the angels!

Hi my name is Rachel foster. I new Mrs. May she was a good and great teacher person. She will be missed.

Sending heartfelt prayers to the May family during this difficult time. Mrs. Joan May will be fondly remembered as a dedicated supporter of the arts in Huntsville, particularly within the ballet community. Having danced with Robin (daughter) for many years, I can attest to Mrs. May's unwavering support, encouragement, and assistance. She will be deeply missed, and my thoughts and prayers are with her family.

I will always remember her enthusiasm for ballet and her positive can-do attitude. She will be missed!

So sorry I cannot attend the service, since I am not feeling well. Joan was a good neighbor and friend.

I met her a long time ago. She was so involved with the Ballet company. A lovely lady.

I’m so sad to hear of Joan’s passing. I knew her through OLLI, as well as through Temple B’nai Sholom. She was such a delightful, warm, intelligent person. Our world is lessened by this transition. May her memory be a blessing, and my condolences to her family.

Mrs. May was a wonderful neighbor for more than 30 years. I will think of her when I see ballet dancers on the stage, pink flowers in the spring and ladies in big hats floating in the pool. May the Lord comfort your family in this time of great loss. Wish I could be there Sunday to celebrate her life but we are performing onstage Queen Esther that day.

Ms. May was my daughter's 4th grade teacher at Whitesburg Elementary. She was a beautiful light in this world and will be missed. Prayers for the family of this beautiful woman.
