Not sure what to say?

"Mom",
Oh how many times I've felt your presence around here since you've left this earth! Anytime a light flickers, or something unusual occurs we all say, "Hi Grandma Joan!" It makes the kids feel good to keep thinking that you're with them more now (from Heaven) then you were able to be with them from Miami!
Little Matthew talks about you ALL the time, and says that you live in his heart, and proceeds to point to his chest. He's very sensitive about the subject, and wants...

Hi Baloney,
Happy First b.d. in heaven. I'm so
glad I went to Fl. to celebrate your
60th, 65th and 70th with you. Who
new your 70th would be your last on
earth? Love you and miss you and
your help on the computer that I hated to ask for because you went into too much detail.
Love you,
Pat

Happy First Birthday in Heaven, Joan. I know how proud you are of your six wonderful children and their families. They are a product of you, and know you are watching over them every day. I keep remembering how they were all there for you; what a wonderful tribute! I pray that they find peace knowing that you are in a better place.
Love,
Lynne

Hi, Mom!
Happy Birthday! If could put time in a bottle, and dreams could make wishes come true...what I would do.
I know you are watching over us...thanks! I think of you and miss you every day. Wish I told you this more often.
I love you.
Debbie Sue

I am a grammar school friend of Joan's sister, Lynne. We were working on the 45th Class Reunion when Joan had her untimely passing. Lynne had expressed her regrets to me at not having been there when Joan passed. My reply was quite simply, if the Good Lord & Joan wanted you to be there a day earlier, you would have been. On behalf of my husband and myself, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Joan's children, siblings and the rest of those who loved her for the wonderful person that she...

I am so glad I re-connected with Joan and my father's first cousin,Loretta, over 12 years ago. Patty and I had a wonderful visit with them in Florida in 1993. What a delightful time reminiscing about the old days in N.J. and Union Beach. Actually, I can blame Joan for any of my problems because she made a confession to me. She was wheeling me to the beach in the baby carriage when she tipped me out head first onto the sidewalk. I was very impressed with her intelligence and literary...

My Dear brothers and sisters-Debbie, Larry, Georgie, MaryAnne and Matthew,

"Which is more important-the spoken word or the written word?"

Awhile ago, I remember seeing a little card that Mommy kept taped to her computer that read that exact question. She and I would talk about that simple sentence for hours on end. Discussing it from either and both sides.

Initially, I believed the spoken word was more important- siting examples based solely on...
