Joan L. McAllister

The McAllister family has been an remains one of the premier families of "Sport Hill" in Dunmore, for many decades. I am proud to be acquainted with many of the related families. Too bad, We all did not get the opporunity to keep the neighborhood as a place where everyone knows one another: no doorbells, no locked doors, just come on in and sit right down. I will miss you Joan, like so many others; even after all these years. Love to all! GENE CAVANAUGH

As far as I can remember The McAllister name was part of my vocabulary and I guess I knew Joan all my life. Sitting here in Florida and reading about her death,via the computer, was not the way I would have liked to say good by to her. She was a good person and she takes a lot good memories of days in Sport Hill with her. She will be missed.
