Mrs. Joan Petty McClain, age 56, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Thursday, October 13, 2011 at her residence. Joan was born November 20, 1954 in Douglasville, Georgia. She was proceeded in death by her father Millard A. Petty. She is survived by her mother, Bertha Vaughn of Douglasville, GA; husband of nineteen years, Dallas McClain; daughter, Angela Sundstrom; grandson, Xander Sundstrom all of Chatsworth, GA; step-son, Jeff McClain of Kennesaw, GA; brother, Ronnie Petty of Austell, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Pam and Dennis Smith of Powder Springs, GA, Carol Petty of Austell, GA, Cindy and Barry Wiggington of Silver Creek, GA, Allison and Wayne White of Douglasville, GA, Amy and Robbie Cronan of New Market, AL, nieces and nephews.
