JOAN THERESA DOWLING MCCORMICK

Words cannot express my sorrow. In 1952, I wanted to emigrate to America. My dear cousin Joan helped me to do this and helped me begin a new life. She also encouraged me to get more eduation. Thanks to Joan, her brother John and her Dad, Tim, I enjoyed a successful career and a wonderful family.

During her long life, Joan stayed in contact with me and our many relatives sharing in all our joys and sadness. Joan really cared which made her such a unique person.

What a gracious, warm, giving woman Joan was! She was so inspiring as a woman, mother, grandmother and friend. We were so blessed to know her and her memory will live on through your beautiful family.
