I wish I could have seen you more in the later years, Grandma. You will always live on in my heart (and countless others'), and you have influenced my upbringing in too many ways to count. Mostly in good ways. I will love and miss you always. Wherever you are, I'll see you when I get there xoxo.

Aunt Joan was like a second Mom she was always there for us when we were under her care when we were little and I think we cracked her up alot because she was always laughing when we were around .When I was older she was a good listener and we would have these long conversations about life and laugh till we had tears streaming down our faces . The McKinley Rd years what can I say , her and Dallas were gracious enough to let me live in their home for a while and she went to bat for me and...

It's been a long journey, fraught with pitfalls and difficulties, especially in recent years, but more often, filled with laughter, your culinary delights, and in the earlier days, more than a few cocktails.
I am happy for you and your transition to a softer place where pain can never touch you and where life's disappointments transform into eternal peace.
