It was my honor to have known Joan for as long as I can remember. As best friends of Mom and Dad (Nancy and Ted Johnson) I had the pleasure of spending many happy family times together. Joan was also my softball, basketball, and and field hockey coach for 4 years at Moreland Hill. I loved that time and getting to know Joan in that capacity. She was an inspiration to me and my teammates and helped us be our best selves on and off the court. Her spirit will live on in my heart forever. ❤
