Not sure what to say?

Nan, We love you dearly and will miss you terribly. The house will never be the same. Who will do the cooking and who will wash the floors with the cloth on the bottom of their foot. Maybe we can train Maddie.
Love ya toooo....Love ya the mostest....

Something comforting to say is always so difficult at this time. We can say how deeply sadden we are for all of you. Your mom gave us great memories to have shared as kids growing up on Chauncy Street;the rock-a-bye,the bat mobile, cub scouts.Memories will always be with us and shared for a lifetime.

Dodie,
We will all remember your sense of humor. You always had a funny story to tell or a joke.
To Sandy, Jimmy and Karen: You know how much your mother loved you all and her grandkids were the light of her life. She is out of her suffering now and we can all take comfort in knowing that she is with her sister Helen and all of her other siblings.
We will miss her deeply.

I was privileged to know Dodie for a very long time since she was my mother's favorite sister. I remember her at 18, tiny, beautiful and blonde. She took me rollerskating when I was 9 and when she picked me up that night she had made me a plaid rollerskating skirt that matched hers. I remember when she met your father. And I remember when each of you were born and how much she loved every one of you.I remember how funny she was and how she made us all laugh with her stories. She told us...

Mom, You will always be loved and remembered. You live on in your children and grandchildren. You will be missed but we have the memories we created together.
Love Sandy
