So sorry to hear about your mom. She was certainly one of the nicest of cousins to one 11 years her junior when I was just a little boy.

Also sorry I couldn't make it to the service, but I am still working and although I only work 3 days a week, I get in at midnight on Friday night and am back on duty at 540 am on Sunday morning. Consequently a trip to Bay City and back on Saturday wasn't feasible.

Your mom and your dad were two very special people! They were the first neighbors we met when we moved to Cortland Farms! They were always so gracious! Your mom's beautiful smile always got bigger when she talked about her family! So sorry for your loss.

My parents lived 2 houses down from your family in Essexville, and from time to time I would hear from my mom about her chats with your mom and how nice she was. I just recently found a couple of your family wedding pictures in my mom's things. Must have been given with Christmas cards. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time.
