Not sure what to say?

My deepest sympathy. My earliest, and happiest, memories include going with my mom to her quilting group at the Mersinger's house. (What an impression that house had on a five-year-old - red and pink, black and white.) Joan was always so loving and kind, with a certain panash. She knew just what to do to make a shy little girl comfortable. The world was better for her having been a part of it, as were our lives.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
