Not sure what to say?

Joan is that loving mother and grandmother every one of us would like to have. Whenever we met her, Joan is always full of energy and joy, she is most pleasant to talk to. We will be missing her for long time.

I grew up as a neighbor and friend of Mark and Chuck. Joan was always in high spirits and kept in contact through my parents. My last moment with her was at Chuck's home watching U of M football and stopping by her house. She lived a blessed life and was always active.

Always full of energy, Joan was not just an aunt, but a friend and at times a confidante. She will be missed. Love to her family!

Mine is standing in the balcony of the church watching Wallace and Joan Marriage ceremony. It is just such a peaceful, brilliant memory, it almost always comes to mind when I think of either of them. Joan glowed in her wedding dress and Wallace looked stately in his black tuxedo.

Joan was my Principal at Taylor elementary school in Livonia and a fun companion on trips to Torch Lake in Northern Michigan JOAN: Jovial Outgoing Appreciative Noble hearted She will be missed!!

He fondly referred to her as "Joan Westfall" though he and Wally were great buddies, as well. Joan and Walt were part of my parents' close friend group, sharing meals, holidays, parties, theater and music in Michigan for more than 60 years! My generation was thrilled to have Joan as guest of honor at our commemorative Soup Party in...

Joan was such a lovely person. She was a good friend of Ann Taber who had graduated from Albion as had I. I got to know Joan through Ann and her husband, Morris.
