Not sure what to say?

Dear Dan and Gladys,
I am so sorry to hear the news of Joan. I remember when she stayed with us while she was going to Minot State. She and mom remained good friends. Mom thought the world of Joan and dad's eyes would light up when she entered the room. They shared lots of laughs and good times. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow and know that we are thinking of you.
Love, Cindy and Barry Flath

So sorry to hear about the loss of your daughter. Joan and I had the same birthday and I received cards from her. She was a very special gal and will be greatly missed -- My prayers are with you

Jerry & Family,Dan, Gladys, Arlene & family, May the Lord Jesus that took Joan home to heaven come down and ease the pain in our hearts. Joan was like family to us and was Harry's marble game partner and he refered to She and Jerry as his kids. She will be in our thoughts forever

We were blessed to have Joni as a friend and neighbor. She willingly shared all of her time and talents.

"Good friends are like stars
your don't always see them, but
you know they are there"
Joan, you will be the star in our heart forever!
Love & Prayers

Jerry and Family,
It is never easy to say goodbye to a good friend. Joni will be remembered for her fun, loyalty, and marvelous humor!

Our deepest sympathy!

Joni was like the matriarch of our lake "family". She always had a smile and a wonderful sense of humor, and shared great stories with us. Even the neighborhood dogs would patiently sit at her feet and wait for a treat! She was always willing to lend a helping hand and share her blessings with others. We are blessed to have known her! Our lake days will never be the same without her! She will be missed tremendously...

Joan was my 4th grade teacher at Dorothy Moses elementary school in Bismarck, ND. Through the years my family and I have become very close friends of Jerry and Joan. I will always think of Joan as a second mother to me and she will be missed more than words can describe! She was a wonderful lady that was full of life, love and laughter that always brought smiles to so many people. She touched so many lives, especially mine. I was blessed to have known such a beautiful person in this...

Absolutely enjoyed Joan when we went to Hettinger Public School together. She was always so friendly to everyone. We have lost track of each other over the years but she will always remember her from our school days together.
