Not sure what to say?

It was really nice meeting Joan as a co-worker. She had a very beautiful spirit. May she continue to rest in eternal peace.

I accidentally ran across this notice. I worked closely with Joan at the NYC DOE in Harlem for several years in Special Education. She was kind, soft spoken but no nonsense. A strong advocate for our kids w/ special needs. I still have a mug she gave me. I truly admired her. So sorry for your loss to her husband & daughter.

I just read about Joan's passing in the Temple Bulletin. I am so sorry for your loss. Richard, I am here in Scarsdale if you or Amy need anything.

My sincerest condolences to you and Amy on the loss of your beloved wife and mother, Joan. I hope that your memories of happy times together bring you some measure of comfort.

Richard and Amy,
I'm glad I had a chance to meet Joan. You have my sympathy in this difficult time.

Dear Richard and Amy,
I am so sorry for your loss. Joan was a colleague of mine at NYC DOE. I knew her for over 15 years and she had the most pleasant personality. She always had only kind things to say to me in a soft tone of voice. Richard, my husband and I met you and Joan in Pathmark Supermarket and then at ShopRite many times. Richard, I also met you and Amy at Joan's retirement party. It was always a pleasure to be in her presence. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her....

Very sorry to hear about your loss.
