Joan M. Nelson

When I think back to when my brother, Brad, was dating Joani and the brief time they were married, I think about how much I looked up to her as a little girl. She was so pretty, and nice to me. I wanted to be just like her when I grew up! I was shocked by the sad news and am so sorry for your family's loss.

Bev, if you read this, my mom tried to look you up in the phone book but was unsuccessful. She sends her prayers.

I recall junior high birthday sleepover parties with Joani at your Xerxes home in Crystal. And I know that Joani owns a collection of notes passed from me to Joani (that her mother lovingly saved with other childhood memorabilia)--would love to have them back...). My thoughts and prayers to Joani's family for your loss. Joani and I were in the same homeroom all through high school. We didn't hang around the same group of people but we were still chums. I'm sure she'll be truely missed by everyone.
