I am so glad to have known Joan. Her CONCERN for others FiRST showed in that she would always ask about my Mom when she was suffering herself. Her ENTHUSIASM in the interests she took on after retirement was fun to see. That time was too short, but she did so much in the time that she had. What a great caring teacher she had to have been. Garry, though the loss is very difficult, I know you are thankful for the wife with whom you partnered. In sympathy to you and your family.
