Not sure what to say?

Dear Joan,

I'm so sorry to have just learned of Joanie's passing. I was trying to look her up so that I could contact her to say hello after so many years. We trapped the feral cat family on your street together, and I was looking forward to giving her the update on the kittens I adopted from the litter.
Such a kind, compassionate soul that I'm grateful to have had the pleasure of meeting. My prayers for your healing after your devastating loss.

Marie

Dear Jack, Johnny and family:
My sincerest condolences,
Julie Z, Dorchester

Dear O'Leary family-please accept my most heartfelt condolences in the loss of your beloved Joanie. I met her in 7th grade at Sterling Jr. High and was so glad I got to know and love this kind, adorable, funny, and most of all courageous little soul. Although it has been many, many years since I last saw her, she has always held a special place in my heart and always will. I've spoken of her bravery and beautiful soul many times over the years, most recently to my children as I recalled...

My condolences to Joannie's family. She was my son Nicholas's preschool teacher at Hugs Plus in 2006. He loved her so much. At pickup time I would have to wait for him until closing time, as he wanted to be Joannie's helper by bringing the bottles and cardboard to the recycle bin outside. She was so gentle and kind, and loved all the children like they were her own. My son is now 17 but remembers Joannie as the nice teacher who wore purple every day, and had races with him on the...

Joan we had alot of fun times and laughs together. I can't believe I will never be able to talk to you again. RIP Joan and Love you. Thoughts and prayers to the O'leary family.

With sincere sympathy.

Joannie was pure of heart and a good soul. A true child of God. She cared for the people she loved and was a good stewart to the animals she tended. Her spirit was kind and she was an advocate for justice. I will miss her sense of humor and feisty personality. I will always remember how Joannie always managed to find the silver lining in every cloud. It always seems like it's those of us who are left behind that truly hurt the most. But our real joy comes from God granting us the...

Joanie, you will be sadly missed. We shared many memories and laughs.
