Joan's brother Bill and I were close friends since the family moved to Nutley in in the late 1940s. I spent a lot of my free time in 8th grade and high school at The Aires Estate at 41 Enclosure. Joan was my friend from those teenage years until she left us for heaven, where I know she will be praying for all her family and friends until we meet her again. I'm Noreen, my mother was Mary Branigan Haines. Cousin Joan came with us to Ireland one Thanksgiving. Most of my family was there and we all remembered her energy and willingness to do whatever was on the agenda. She didn't turn down any adventure. A good traveling companion and great company. She and my mother talked all the time about their school days together when my mother and her sister Jean lived with Cousin Joan and her parents Frank & Jewell Aires.
