As a former patient, I have joyful, vivid memories of Dr. Parry. Her area of expertise might have been on death and dying but more than this, she understood living. Her insightful and thought-provoking advice has served me well in my life— I still hear her words of encouragement, although it has been more than twenty-five years since I sat across from her in a trailer in Glen Cove.
