Not sure what to say?

Joan was a very special lady whose memory will remain very dear to those who had the pleasure of knowing her. I came to know Joan as a young person just out of college, while she worked at Irving Home Health Care. Joan was a wonderful co-worker, mentor, and friend. Joan always encourged me and those around her to be better people and contribute positively to society. I am grateful to have known her, and I will miss her greatly. It's not often in life that we encounter such rare beauty in a...

I was saddened to read of Joan's death. She was a very sweet and caring lady, and she was a wonderful friend to my mother, Grace Neighbors. As Mom got older and didn't drive as much, Joan took her to many Ikebana meetings with her. The last time I saw Joan was at my home on Mom's 90th birthday. She will be missed by many.

It was my great priviledge and honor to have known Joan. I am so saddened, for myself, her family and friends, by her loss. She was a remarkable woman and we will all miss her.

Joan Pasek was one of the nicer people that one meets going thru life. She was always cheerful and pleasant to talk with. I, along with my husband Ray, will miss her very much. Our sincere condolences to her husband Marvin, at this time of sorrow.

We came to know Joan through Boston Terrier Rescue .. She was a kind and devoted person to her causes and she and Marv made the picnics so much fun. She always had a quick wit about her, but was kind and compassionate..
We as well as the boston terriers have lost a great friend.. God Bless you Joan . When you and your furbabies cross the Rainbow Bridge, please tell the ones that are waiting for the rest of us how much we love and miss them on earth... Have a safe journey and we will...

I came to know and admire Joan through our work with the Boston Terrier Rescue of North Texas. She was a kind and caring person and an inspiration to me. I will miss her.

Though I did not know Joan long, she was always very warm and friendly. She was very active in the North Tx Boston Terrier Club with me. She was always in charge of the picnic held in Oct. every year. She had a great love for her Boston rescues she adopted. Our condolences to her family and friends. She will be greatly missed at our meetings.

I, like many, came to know Joan through her passion for ikebana. She was always so gracious, the "calm in the storm," at-the-ready wiith a bit of wit and a twinkle in her eye. I am honored to be among those who knew her and who miss her. She took a little piece of my heart with her!
