I missed the first news of Joan's untimely death, and read the small article in the Evanston Review just today. I was incredulous that her death was ruled a likely suicide. They didn't know Joan. I came to know Joan well beginning about two years ago when she was about to begin her sales representation of the Custer condos. I knew Joan only about 6 months. In that time, I observed her to be light and lovely, and yet meticulous in her care of clients, co-workers and self. I'll will forever hear the music of her bangles and beads around the office, and will miss her. In that, our office will be forever the same, and yet impossibly different.

you have touched my life in so many ways that I don't know how to express it in just a few words. I will miss you so much and I wish God had allowed us more time to build lifetime memories of our friendship. I'm positive heaven is much more colorful since you arrival.

I knew Joan a short 2 years. She had so much ambition and energy. She was dedicated, extremely helpful, and a good role model for new agents. So many will miss her. I will miss her.
