Joan was my agent for over 40 years, and although I didn´t talk with her often, we always had nice talks about family and kids, before business. Joan you were the coolest cousin from California. I enjoyed many Christmas parties with you. Trips to the Stanford museum to see the Egyptian mummies. Working the Barrett Ski Ranch pool snack bar with your supervision. As a bridesmaid for your first marriage I sat with you late into the evening while you sewed petals on the skirt of your wedding dress. Who would know that we both would endure breast cancer as would our grandmother Alberta Ganschow and my mother Verna Ganschow Lanting....
