Not sure what to say?

Our sympathy to the Pilney family. Joan was a wonderful friend and neighbor for many years. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Denny and Connie Kurth

My sincere sympathies.

Dear family of Joan,
Joan was one of a kind. She was the most kind-hearted, sweet, loving, generous and understanding person we ever met. She lit up the room with her beautiful smile and made everyone she encountered feel better. She was loved and will be dearly missed by everyone who was blest to know her. She is now in peace in God's loving arms. We will miss you Joan more than you know.

Joan gave me a beautiful picture of Our Lady of Guadalupe, when I hosted a Ministry program in our home. The picture stands on a table in my living room, and every time I look at it, I remember Joan and our wonderful Ministry Programs in which she was the leader.

When she asked me to read the names at one of the All Soul's Day Masses, she came to the church with me as I practiced with the Music Director. Always there. Always loving. Always fun to be with also. I will so miss...

I was in Minnesota in June and drove through the old neighborhood - lots of memories on Theresa Street. Frankie stopped by our nephew's house while we were there and we enjoyed catching up with him. We lost our Mom five years ago and our Dad earlier this. It is hard to say goodbye to those we love and it is our hope that you find strength and comfort from your faith, family and friends when you need it most.

Beautiful Spirit Arrangement

Our condolences to Frank & the Pilney family. What a wonderful example of love & service that Joan's life showed to all of us. I loved the sense of humor that went along with her sweet smile! I'm smiling now as I think of the welcome party she will have in Heaven! We are out of town & I'm so sorry to miss seeing all the families at her funeral. Such a grand legacy she has created!

Frank and family:

Thinking and praying for the family. As you already know your mom was such a giving and patient person. Such a gem. Growing up with your family was such a treat and a lot of that had to do with your mom. As she rests in peace I hope you will do the same knowing that her spirit lives on in each of you.

with love,

Kathy(Bradford)Lande
