We very much appreciated Joan and her late husband as next door neighbors in Jamestown. Several times we visited them up in the woods at their new house. I know she very much cared about the Salvation Army store in North Kingston.

To Joan´s family and friends, I just want to convey my deepest sympathy on your loss. I cared for Joan at the Village and was always amazed at how kind and thoughtful she was towards others. She always asked "how are you" and "whats new", not about herself or her problems. A special lady for sure. I'm glad I got to know her even for a short while. God bless you, Donna Stolasz
