Barb, Debra and Judy, your mother was a force of her own, always upbeat, friendly, sharing stories and a delight. She will be missed. Each of you reflects her in your own ways. You each share her spirit and energy. Her memory is a blessing to you all.

It's hard to find the words. Thank you Joan for your kindness, accepting nature, generosity and your warm smile. Thanks for the great childhood memories that helped shape many of us on the block. To Bob, Barb, Debbie and Judy...my thoughts are with you. Jamie Trumble

Joan was a neighbor of mine for many years before moving to the East side of Ann Arbor. Bob, I know that you must miss her very much and my thoughts are with you and the family. Take care and be gentle to yourself and each other.

So many fantastic summer days spent at the Ravin pool for cousin fest. The door was always open and everyone welcomed without hesitation. Lots of fun, great picnics and laughter when Grandma Joanie would inevitably make a comment about her calorie consumption . A very special lady with a very special family.
