Not sure what to say?

To the family of Joan-Joan was our dear college classmate at Mount Holyoke College, Class of 1981. She was always a friendly and smiling face in our crowd, and her friends are saddened and surprised by her passing. We all went through some very good and some very bad times together during our lives in the 1980s. Our class will remember her fondly at our reunion in 2011. Sincerely, Cerise Jalelian-Keim, MHC, Class of 1981 (Lexington, MA)

Our thoughts are with you all at this time. We are sorry for your loss. Joan was always wonderful to Ayla when she went to your house for play dates with Christina. She will be dearly missed by both of us.

My sincere sympathy to Frank and his children. I am schocked and grieved that such a bright, vibrant, dedicated woman has left us. During the years I worked with her, she was an exemplary professional, and a role model for others. She deserved better than such a premature end. Whatever she did, she gave it her all, and with a refined sense of humor.
Paul Kochis

My deepest sympathies to your family. Joan and I were friends from second grade up until our early twenties. We were involved in many performances together and I enjoyed catching up with her on the phone last year. I know she will be missed.--Jessie Grover Robinson

Our sincerest condolences to Frank, Charron & Christina and the extended Reis Family. Joan was a great friend, neighbor and person. Her life was cut way too short and she will be missed! From the day we moved in she was always open-armed and welcoming.
