We wrote letters and always sent her pictures of how much I've grown. I will greatly miss talking to her. She wasn't just an old teacher of mine but she was also a friend. I saved letters and I will always cherish them.

I will never ever forget you Joan for the numerous moments we shared together in prayer and scripture every morning for almost 20 years.
