Joan was a special friend.

Hugs and prayers to Bill and family. Joan was one of those special ladies that we all will remember with smiles on our faces. She was loved and respected by many.

Bill and Joan became very special friends when we were in Florida. Joan was diagnosed with breast cancer and we had bought our place down there and the park had pretty much cleared out. Joan was staying for treatments and we just went back-and-forth a lot and that became a forever friendship Joan and Bill have always been special. We have the same beliefs, both Christian and political and that brings a lot of commonality to talk about in life, we shared a lot of private things and concerns.

Joan was a special friend to many in the Sarasota Bay RV Park, Bradenton Florida during the winter months. She shared her excellent cooking skills and helped prepare the Friendship dinners several times and taught a few how to make her dinner rolls. None compared with Joan's. Joan and Bill were chair/hosts for coffee hour for many years and made sure the donuts were just right. Our thoughts and prayers are with Bill and the family at this time. Jane & Wayne Hasek

She had a way of expressing herself that was so humble and truthful. A real example of a Christian woman. An inspiration.
