Joan Ross Obituary
Joan Marjorie Ross (Robottom), went home to be with Jesus on November 21, 2014. Leaving her childhood home of Fareham, Hampshire in England, she came to America as a British war bride, married to Wayne M. Ross of Ross Laboratories. Joan lived in Seattle, Edmonds, and Shoreline.
She was a loving and contented stay home Mom, who raised three children; David, Jim, and Elaine. She loved her quiet, simple life, her home, her church, singing in the choir, gardening, knitting, reading, and her pets.
She passed on to glory at age 94 with her son, Jim, by her side, after suffering for several years of physical decline due to Alzheimer's disease. Her family wishes to express thanks and deep appreciation for the loving and compassionate care given to her in her final years by the staff of Rosewood Court in Edmonds, and the love and prayer support given by her church family of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Shoreline.
A memorial service will be held at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 16508 - 8th Avenue NE, Shoreline, WA 98155 on December 6, 2014 beginning at 2:00 pm.

Godspeed Joan Ross. You hosted us to tea at your Queen Anne house and created such a genteel atmosphere of calm and graciousness as to never be forgot. We know Joan was at the heart of everything we saw in the fine character of her late husband and son from whom we have had the pleasure of their friendship over many years as neighbors of Ross Laboratories. A fine lady of the old school will be missed
