Sandwick, Joan L. (Daugherty) 61 of Alexandria, MN, formerly of N. Mpls. Survived by husband, Gerry; son, John; daughter, Dena (Michael Smith); grandchildren, Paris, Bridger, Kael, and Keaton; sisters, Linda Youngdahl, Jacqie Daugherty (Ray Alstedt); and many other relatives and friends. An Irish wake will be held at a later date for friends and family.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I remember Joan when you lived by us in Brooklyn Park. Growing up in that neighborhood and going to Dena's sleepovers were some really good times. I don't know how your mom could put up with all of us teenagers those nights. She was always pleasant and smiling. I wish you peace and comfort during this difficult time.
