JOAN SETZER

I was one of Joan's caregivers when she and Sara lived in Sultan. My last day there she cried and said that I would soon forget her. I promised that I would not... and I have kept that promise. I will never forget Joanie as a bright young mother. I loved taking Joan and Sara for walks. I was so excited to see that Sara had her own child and that Joanie had lived to see it. Goodbye, Sweet Friend...I may never understand all the whys, but I know you are safe and whole in Jesus' arms.

Joan was a good friend of mine while I was a resident at Delta. I will always remember her patient listening one evening while I cried on her shoulder after I had received some devastating news. She had the brightest smile. The last time I visited her at Delta, I was happy for her that she had a beautiful granddaughter and MS hadn't taken away her ability to smile. Rest in peace Joan, I will always remember your kindness.
