It's hard to believe that in two days it will be one year since you went to be with the Angels. You are always in my thoughts and I miss you so very much. We know you are watching over all the ones you loved and one day we will be together. Love you forever Joan. Your Sister Janet

Although I have not seen Joan in many years - having been one of my best friends in college - I will never forget her. My condolences to her family

It has been said people come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. I knew the first time I met Joan thru or daughters at montessori school we clicked and it would be a lifetime. We lived next door to Joan for almost 3 decades. She was a wonderful neighbor and friend. We miss her but will never forget her.

I met your mom on the day she interviewed at Capitol Region Mental Health Center. I immediately thought to myself that she was a classy person and i also felt she would get the job. Your mom showed great courage in facing her illness. I am glad to have known her.

I had the pleasure of working with Joan for years at Kuhn...I would like to express my deepest sympathy to her family, her daughter, and partner. I remember how upbeat and cheerful Joan always was, always smiling and would absolutely glow at the mention of her daughter. She loved her child beyond words and I can only imagine felt the same about her precious grandchild. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and I will always have loving thoughts of dear Joan. RIP

Joan was my big sister who has taught me alot in life. I will treasure the stories you shared about taking Cheryl & myself to McAuliffe Park when we were little. You will always be in my thoughts and I will love you forever!
