Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Sloan was one of the most loyal, kind and caring people I ever meet. My family and I had the privilege to meet The Sloans in Newland N.C. at Mountain Glen Golf Course. My father Harold Fisher and My Mother Marie Fisher really loved enjoying time with Coach and Joan. May God Bless her and Coach now and always Sincerely Bryan Fisher

My sincere condolenses to Leslie,Debbie, and Mike on the passing of their mother Joan.Such a nice person! She will be missed.

We were at NCSU during the transition from Case to Sloan. Joan was indeed, the first Lady of NCSU Basketball. We attended the Dedication ceremony of the statues outside the newly renovated Reynolds Coliseum. I am going to miss holding Joan´s hands everyday at the Rosewood. She loved visiting with my little rescue dog and always wanted to go to her room and bring him her cookies! I am thankful that she can be with Coach Sloan now, but she will certainly be missed. I teased her all the time about singing the national anthem for memory care floor before lunch! She would never sing it for us, but you could tell she was so proud of her part in singing the national anthem in the past. God bless Joan...

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Joan was a beautiful person both inside and out! I want to celebrate her awesome life. She was salt and light! The Bible says "Absent from the body Present with the Lord". That a wonderful place to be. Love ya, David Thompson

God bless Joan Sloan! She was an amazing person and friend! Joan never missed a beat in her beautiful rendition of our national anthem! Coach Sloan recruited a lot of great people but none was a bigger prize than Joan! My condolences to Debbie, Mike, and Leslie and the rest of the family! Joan has been a very important part of my life! Thank you Joan! RIP! Love you!
