Not sure what to say?

So sorry for your loss. May the wonderful memories you have help you through this most difficult time. Thoughts and prayers are with you all. Such a wonderful woman that will be missed by many.

Cheryl Barton Plahanski

My condolences to your family. She was a big part of my life as a teenager in Greene. She was a great inspiration to those of us who studied with her. I remember watching her fingers fly over the piano keys, and hearing her unmistakable laugh. She was one of a kind.

I've heard of the loss of your loved one, Joan. Jeremiah 29:11, reminds us that God's true thoughts are of peace for us, not pain. May reflection on his goodness comfort you.

My condolences to Joan's family. She was a very gifted pianist. I remember her well from Raymond Chorus days. Her presence and talents will be greatly missed.

The woman that I first knew as Mrs. Bub was all of the things her obituary said, and more. I had the pleasure of singing in her church choir many years ago, and still treasure my memories of that, and her. She was an ornament to every organization she contributed to, and people like that make the world's best citizens. Godspeed, Mrs. Bub!

Such a fine woman and musician. Her presence at First Congregational Church as choir director 49 years ago led to my mom, Adrienne Silvernail, as a young single mother, joining the choir and the church and laid the spiritual foundation for me going into ministry. I loved her distinctive style of "shouting" to the choir in rehearsals as they sang. Such an exciting and vibrant way of interacting. She will be missed.
