Although Joan and I did not keep in touch after our retirement, I have fond memories of Joan as a co-worker at the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Department of Labor. I remember her professional skills as a writer, I remember her finger nails, perfectly manicured and her beautiful rings she always wore. We were the three J's...Judy, Joan and Jeannette.
