Joan is still in my thoughts and prayers as are you, her dear family.
Her name is at the top of the scroll in the sanctuary at St. Francis of Assisi church for the month of November. I see it every time I'm in church.

It is the loss of a good and beautiful person that causes us all to mourn and grieve. Joan was my "adopted" sister through marriage and I truly thank the Lord for her. Her love, kindness, gentleness and selflessness was a blessing to all who knew her.
For Steve, Margaret, Kathryn and Emma we are praying that the Lord will comfort and uphold you in this difficult time. Always remember the promises of 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. We love you all.
