I have so many memories of Joanie from our days at Slippery Rock University. She was such an important influence on me, and such a good friend. One of my favorite memories of Joan was when she invited me home to NY for Thanksgiving and I got to spend time with her parents & sister.
I am so sad to learn of her passing and I am sending condolences to her family. She was irreplaceable and will truly be missed.
