Joan's Family

I am so sorry to hear of her passing - I was in Maine last week and just found out - She was always my mentor in this crazy title business - she was the most respected closing officer in Kalamazoo - I was so very fortunate to have her not only as a co-worker but a friend - I was just thinking about her before I went on vacation - came across a deed with both of our signatures - it brought a smile to my face of long ago... I tried to get Tami's # - if you read this...

Joan worked for me from 1977 to the date she retired. She was the hardest working employee that ever worked for me and she loved her work as a Senior Escrow Officer. Joan was a major contributor to the succuss of our branch. Thank you Joan for your friendship, loyalty and years of service. I offer my prayers for you and your family. I will miss you.

I had the honor of hiring Joan to work at Transamerica Title in late 1974 or early 1975. I can honestly say that she was by far and away the best person I ever had the pleasure to work with. She was certainly instrumental in helping me launch my career. She was a true professional. I once gave her a goal to average 5 closings a day. 10 years after I had left Kalamazoo, out of the blue,I got a call from her. She had averaged 5 per day for the month just ended. Imagine someone being that...

We will never forget how special you made everything grandma!

Joan was a wonderful person and taught me so much and will be missed. I worked with her at Transnation Title and she was an incredible boss and friend. I will keep all of her family in my prayers. May you all have the strength that Joan had.

Great granddaughter Brooke and Maggie!

Joan was a wonderful and sweet woman. I've known her since 1979 (and my husband even before) and would never have anything bad to say about her. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend. I can remember her great food - especially the pork roast and gravy! Yum. Just like my mom, she loved feeding people. She will be missed. Such a great lady. She will be watching all of us from up above - so we all must behave!

Love to the family.

Robin, so sorry to hear about the passing of your Mom, I am sure she will be greatly missed.
