Not sure what to say?

Pauline Hassell at Christmas 2016

With deepest sympathy to Cindy, Nancy and Brad for the loss of your wonderful mother, Joan. I will always remember her beautiful spirit, loving friendship and warm smile. I miss your mother so much and planned to call her. Sending you all much love and kisses, Pauline Hassell

I recall Christmas, when we kids along with you would decorate the Christmas tree after Dad, passed away.. There with ornaments of years past with it's tinsel and egg nog on Christmas Eve and music in the air you made it fun.
The cats loved the tree as they went under it and you were worried about glass ornaments they would by accident knock down.
The gifts would be under the tree with three stick on bows per box with a name tag.
The next morning we would open them and afterwards...

My condolences go to the families. May God be your comfort.

My Mother, was born in New York City, June 6, 1931 to Dr. and Mrs. Edward Gibbs.
They moved to Long Island NY before it became known as the suburbs and went to Art School in NYC where she loved going to the MET.
In 1955 she married Robert R. Tiley, 1932-1974 at the Cathedral of the Incarnation Episcopal Church in Garden City.
They were parents of five children: Nancy, Cynthia, Marianne, 1958-1999 Bradford and Scott, 1965-2011.
She worked with the elderly and did Bookkeeping...

Joan, you were beautiful inside and out :-)

I will remember you
the days you sang to me
or comforted me when I
was scared or sad.
The laughter we had.
Yesterday, hopes
and dreams
you made them
come true
oh, I will forevefr
remember you.

Prayers to you Nancy and your family at this sad time. I loved the way your Mom smiled whenever she saw me. She made me feel special. She will no longer be in pain and will walk with ease. God Bless you! Much Love, Claudia, Jay, Shirley, Ann, and Suzanne and the rest of us :-)
