Joan Gladness Tillman

I met Joan and Bob several years ago when I was working in Sonoma. Joan was inspirational, always gracious and kind, yet determined and wonderfully opinionated. We shared a love for Golden Retrievers, books, and politics. The only point we differed on was Meyer Lemons. Joan and Bob had a Meyer Lemon tree laden with fruit; I did not. Joan strongly disliked Meyer Lemons; I love them. Joan and Bob generosity shared her lemons with me. I think of her every time I see a lemon.
