Joan Truby

I didn't know of Joan Truby's passing until about an hour ago, and I was shocked and saddened. It seemed to me and to those closest to her that she would live forever. I first met Joan in the early 1990s as a member of the Denver Rose Society. She was highly knowledgeable about growing and cultivating one of the world's most beautiful flowers. Both as an open, friendly person and as a consulting rosarian, she will be sorely missed. Rest in peace, Joan, surrounded by your fragrant roses forever.
