Read MoreIt is with great sadness that I read of Joan's passing. When I first met Holly, I was introduced to Joan and Richard installing the Sistine Chapel ceiling in their dining room. They were the perfect couple. I will cherish Joan's enthusiasm for life, kindness, her southern sunny accent and her smile for as long as I may live. Did not know Joan. Saw the name in NYT today and read it because I grew up in Cape Elizabeth , Maine and Richard Baldwin Tupper grew up a few houses away in the same neighborhood. His father , Don Tupper, was a friend of my parents.
