Joan Ungaro

So many beautiful photos bringing back so many warm memories. Growing next door to Joan and her wonderful parents, and Blackie, and knowing Pat and her children, and later Alexis, has been a great blessing in my life. Beautiful family. Deep appreciation for the way you all included and cared for Joan, and deep appreciation for her being...a life well lived. I'll always treasure my memories of those summer days with Joan at the Westmoreland pool. Much Love....

We enjoyed visiting Joan at her home when she lived in Sun City, AZ. She truly did love the hoopla of the holidays. I remember all of us laughing a lot with her and also enjoying her little dogs, Tina and Licorice. Thank you for the memories and keep smiling and laughing and petting your pooches across the rainbow bridge, Joan!

My mom, Jeanne Hughes, was also a resident at Emeritus, later Brookdale. I loved seeing Joan in the lobby. She was always so friendly and told me many times that I looked nice. She is a sweet woman and brought sunshine to those around her.

She will be missed by all. I do remember Blackie just not sure which one lol. My heartfelt condolences to Pat and all of my cousins. Please let me know when you are going to do a memorial service here. I hope to be able to make it.
