Not sure what to say?

A wonderful woman, mother and friend of mine passed away this week. Mrs. VanGessel was someone I loved to see at church each week. She always brought a smile to my face. She was treasured by many. I wish her family the very best and hope the joy of her life outweighs the sadness of her passing.

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

So sorry to hear about your loss. I have many fond memories growing up alongside John, MaryJo, Matt et.al. Ma was one of a number of mothers that looked out for us all.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire VanGessel clan.

MaryJo (and family) -
Your Mother was always so sweet to us! :) Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
God Bless!

Our deepest sympathies to the VanGessel family. Whether it was seeing her in church or letting us get a haircut in her basement, your Mom always made us feel welcome and like one of her own. She will be missed.

On behalf of my wife, Kathy, and my brother, Bob, we extend to all the VanGessel family our prayers of support and love. It was a wonderful thing that our mothers' were able to share, even for a brief period, the proximity of Heron Manor. Your Mom was an exceptional spirit, and a gift to us all.

Our love.

We are so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. Your mom and dad were both such great friends to our parents. They are all together again. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Jamie (Levandoski) McCormick, and Joe Levandoski

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome...

The VanGessel family,

We're sorry to hear of your mother's passing. We're in Florida now but our thoughts are with you guys. A super lady and mother! Lots of fond memories with "Ma & Pa" VanGessel. They were good people! Tom & Pat Lurtsema
