Joan VanWormer

What a neat idea to share memories with I am sure so many who will read this. Well - Joan and (of course) Norm always felt like relatives - so really stretching it - my brother's wife's parents~!!! Mike and I really got closer after my Mom and Dad quit driving to Arizona and we flew back every year for ye gads around 12-15 years. I believe it started one evening when we arrived she had a dinner planned with Henry and Connie and invited us to join in. I don't remember all that were there but...

With fond memories of such a Sweet Lady. I always loved when she would stop in at Street Light Cafe, she was always a Joy! I feel so Blessed to have known her. Prayers for the Family.

My family and I remember Joan so very fondly as our Mother's good friend at Meadowview Manor. She always had a smile to share and was a great comfort to our Mother and to us, as well. Know that all of the family and friends who had the extreme good fortune to know Joan have our thoughts and prayers at this time.

Joan was one of our favorite people - we became friends thru the marriage of my brother and Joan's daughter, Connie. And although we live in Arizona everytime we visited Michigan, Joan and Norm always took time to have us for dinner or take us to dinner. One favorite memory is a drive to their cottage where we lunched and after lunch - what a fun time played the organ and danced. Yes that reflects so much of Joan and Norm and how friendly and wonderful they were.
