Joan Von Derau

We just learned of Joan´s passing when when brother, Jon, visited the gravesite of my parents at David´s Cemetery. We, including my husband Mike Hawley, are saddened by this news. She and Dick were dear to us. They really came into my life at a late time and were special as Mom´s cousin and only connection I had to Mom´s own family. Joan was so sweet to us. She had a bright smile and great laugh. Mike and I were so delighted they came to Williamsburg to see Mom and attended our wedding.
