Not sure what to say?

I am saddened to hear of Joan's death. I remember her as a friend, a parishoner, and the purrfect cat sitter. She lived her life to the fullest-- love of family, friends, teaching, animals, travel; the way she could dial a phone for take-out was incredible!

Arnetta and Joan's family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Marilyn, my love to you as you grieve theloss of your dearest friend and traveling companion

I will always remember Miss Von Holton as a remarkable teacher, invested tennis coach, and role model. With a big smile and bigger heart she had that special way to bring out the best in her students and players. I was so saddened to hear of Ms. Von Holton's passing at such a young age. She was fun and a good teacher. I am sorry for the family's loss. She will be deeply missed.

i learned to love math as a student in miss von holten's 7th grade class. i enjoyed knowing her as a teacher and as a colleague when i began to substitute. she will be missed by all who knew her. her humor, kindness, and love for all students was evident in her teaching. i am sorry for your loss and my prayers will be with you.

She accepted us for what we were, and treated us as the mature adults we were destined to be, although we were no where near that stage of our lives yet. She ruled each class with the authority she deserved as a teacher, but also with...
