Send FlowersWacha, Joan L. age 75, of Golden Valley, formerly of Crystal, passed away peacefully on 3/12/06. Joan and her husband Arnold owned Arnold's Bakery in Robbinsdale for many years. She was preceded in death by husband, Arnold. Survived by sons, Steven (Lori) and Gerald; grandchildren, Jonathon, Kacey and Conner; many loving relatives and friends. Memorials preferred to North Memorial Hospice. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Funeral service Friday 11 AM, with a visitation one hour prior and Thursday from 5-8 PM all at: Washburn-McReavy Robbinsdale Chapel 4239 West Broadway 763-537-2333

I was sorry to hear that Joan passed away. I also have very fond memories of going to the bakery with my mom and brothers on the weekends to get our free donut from Arnold & Joan. What a great lady - she was always smiling! Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

I am very sorry to hear the sad news.
Even though she has not been in the old house for awhile, it is still your mom's house to me. Every now and then, I still think about when I was young, riding my bike to the bakery for a hug from your mom and a free cookie.
